Modifying your car looks cool, but it's not all about simple aesthetics. Many customizations have more functional purposes- they can make the car run faster or smoother, for instance, or help to defend your car from any damage- if you've spent a lot of time and cash on your ride, the last thing you want is for all of that to be ruined by scratches and dings.

Take Smoked tail lights, for example. Putting a tint or smoking your lights makes them darker and less see-through, which looks good, but it also protects the glass of your rear lights from scratches. When putting these on, however, you should be familiar with your states laws regarding tinted lights. Some states ban Smoked tail lights, so make sure your customization plans will be street legal.

They're not as flashy a Smoked tail lights, but Clear bras paint protection systems are more practical. Like tinted tail lights, you have an extra layer over the surface of your car, only this time, it goes over the front, protecting areas that are exposed to dust and scratches like bumpers, sideview mirrors, and headlight covers with an almost-invisible film.

Over time, these small collisions may become visible as scratches and small gouges in your paint job, leading to a very expensive repainting session at your car shop. A paint bra system may be an additional initial expense, but in the long run, it'll save you the money you lose getting costly paint repair jobs. And when your Clear bra system has taken enough punishment, you can peel it off to reveal the unscratched paint underneath, and just replace it with another film again.

But sometimes, no matter what you do or how careful you are, you'll still end up with some small dings and dents. Cases like these aren't necessarily preludes to a lot of expensive repair and repainting, and a long wait at the car shop.

PDR Paintless dent removal techniques can smooth it all out in a meter of hours, and, if the paint hasn't been broken, no repainting is necessary. This is why PDR also costs much less than traditional dent removal techniques- all it takes is a set of specialized tools to smooth out the dings, and a skilled, and very patient car technician.

A good example of this is Smoked tail lights. This kind of tail lights has been covered by a film layer that makes them more opaque and darker. This layer can protect the glass of your lights from dirt, grit and it looks a lot better . Take note, however, that the local laws in your area may have laws against Smoked tail lights, so do your research and make sure your mods are street legal.
